Following the 1983 demonstration there was another Stop the City held on the 29th of March 1984. This time the Police were ready in large numbers, violence was in the air and the weather was miserable. Protestors were searched, kettled and constantly told to move on. There were over 400 arrests. These 72 photographs, again previously unpublished, were mainly taken outside The Royal Exchange.

Taken on a Contax 139 camera and bulk loaded Ilford HP5 film.
